Montefiore Investment (“Montefiore”) was established in 2005 by Éric Bismuth and Daniel Elalouf, and is headquartered in Paris, France. The firm was founded with the specific objective to invest in the French Business Services sector, particularly companies active in B2B Services, Digital and IT Services, B2C Healthcare Services and Tourism & Leisure, all segments where Montefiore has deep knowledge and expertise. Patria GPMS has been invested with Montefiore since 2016 through its primary commitment to Montefiore Investment IV followed by a primary commitment to Montefiore Investment V in 2020.  Since inception, Montefiore has deployed the same successful strategy, focusing on profitable growth and business transformation. Montefiore typically acts as the lead investor and the first financial investor with a control ownership position. The firm is fully independent and owned by the Partners.

Montefiore VI and Montefiore Expansion I provide Patria Private Equity Trust with the opportunity to invest alongside a leading European lower mid-market manager focused on the French and Italian Business Services sectors. Montefiore Fund VI is targeting businesses with EVs of €100-500 million and equity cheques of €40-200 million. Montefiore Expansion I is targeting businesses with EVs <€100 million and equity cheques <€40 million. Montefiore operate a one team structure and are differentiated through their deep sector expertise, broad sourcing networks and capabilities, and their strong brand in the French and Italian markets.

Prior to its commitment to Montefiore VI and Montefiore Expansion, the Patria Private Equity Trust has been invested with Montefiore since 2021 via its co-investment in NGE,  a leading French infrastructure services business currently held in Montefiore Investment V.

Montefiore provides the Patria Private Equity Trust with exposure to growing mid-market services businesses in France and Italy, alongside one of the leading private equity managers in the region.
