Bowmark is an established, high quality UK GP and a brand name in the market. It was originally founded in 1997 as Sagitta Private Equity, part of the Sagitta Group, but was renamed Bowmark following a management buyout completed by Kevin Grassby and Charles Ind in 2004.

Bowmark targets investments in high quality, market leading businesses with the opportunity for transformational growth, driven by structural rather than cyclical trends. These companies are typically technology or tech-enabled B2B services companies, often with disruptive business models in traditional markets, and have high recurring revenue, strong sales and earnings growth, and strong cash generation. Bowmark partners with high quality management teams to accelerate growth, with the aim of doubling earnings during its ownership to generate attractive, and consistent, returns.
